Corporate Image Consultant, Professional Speaker and First Impressions Expert
Being comfortable in my own skin and radiating confidence wasn’t something I was born with or came naturally to me. But my upbringing, world travels, college education and early employment experiences transformed an often shy, insecure girl into a confident woman, secure with her image and abilities.
I’ve always been grateful for my childhood and how it helped define my personal style. As a self-made successful businessman, my father knew the importance of hard work and projecting a powerful, confident image. My mother understood this as well and her grace and charm were as evident with her wardrobe as the confidence in her beauty. We moved often during my youth and calling home in places as dissimilar as Hartford, CT; Greensboro, NC; Philadelphia and Miami taught me how to relate to different people and cultures.
During my college days, I found myself in different jobs throughout different industries that helped prime my future career as an image consultant. From upscale beauty salons, high end make-up retailers, and luxury personal shopping, every job contributed to on-hand experience in perfecting a person’s image. As I approached graduation it became clear to me how important a positive self-image affects the probability of succeeding in a job interview, and even in social settings.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, rather than immediately find an entry-level job, I opted to travel as much as I could. North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America were profound influences toward understanding cultural diversity and the role it plays in appearances. New York City, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, London, Prague and Vienna were just some of the cities contributing to this ongoing education. London in particular was a city where I found much inspiration and appreciation for design aesthetic.
How I was raised, the places I’ve seen, and the lessons I gained played equal parts toward developing the expertise I use every day working with clients. It molded me into the person I am today, and this is the reason I get great satisfaction from my career. With four years of direct experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Menswear certification, Corporate Image Consulting certification and ongoing graduate studies in Public Relations, I have become an expert in helping people identify and refine their innate qualities so they can develop a personal statement uniquely their own. My story proves that the perfect image is within your grasp, and I can teach you how to obtain it.
